Why A Cleanse?
A cleanse is a time for new beginnings, the perfect opportunity to reset, to let go of what isn't helpful, and feel more vitality.
Traditionally in Ayurveda, a cleanse is done at the turn of the seasons to eliminate accumulated toxins from the previous season, balance the doshas (energy), and increase energy and clarity.
The great thing about Ayurveda? It's not about fasting or deprivation or some crazy fad.
In today's fast-paced and unpredictable world, chaos and stress can make it feel like everything is unraveling around us. We have the power to cultivate inner stability.

Ayurveda is a preventative health system, the sister-science to yoga that has supported well-being for thousands of years.
Modern science is catching up to the common-sense principles in Ayurveda, such as the recommended hours and absorption of morning rays for optimal sleep, regulation of the nervous system, and the brain-gut connection.

What will it be like?

This protocol is inspired by Ayurveda; it includes a nutritious mono-diet of kitchari, a complete nutrition, easy-to-digest meal to reset your digestion, combined with a specific daily protocol of self-care activities to restore your nervous system and calm your mind.
You do need to make sure you have time to rest and are not doing a cleanse when you have a lot of obligations
How long is the cleanse?
I’ll be guiding you through a 7-day Ayurvedic cleanse. That’s our foundation. However, because everybody's schedule is different, you’ll also have the flexibility to choose the version that works best for you, whether that means a shorter cleanse or a longer reset.
You will have access to the course for up to a month.
A cleanse is a time to clean up the "home" of your body.

Hi I'm Jen,
I have been teaching Iyengar yoga for more than 20 years. And I have been a sign language interpreter for more than 25 years.
Incorporating Ayurveda into my life during COVID made such a positive impact on my life. Combining this ancient science with my yoga practice has been a game-changer. At first, I was reluctant to practice Ayurveda, but the immediate benefits were hard to resist.
I was never interested in any kind of detox, but when I experienced an Ayurvedic cleanse, my attitude changed. I want to share it with you! If you are resistant, I get it!
I have studied with Dr. Arun at Ayuskama Ayurveda and Rose Carol at Ayurveda Amritanam Learning Center, where I qualified in Ayurveda Health Coaching. I'm particularly interested in Ayurveda and how it affects our mental health; therefore, I continue my studies in Ayurveda Psychology, and I've studied Vedic Psychology with Dr. Frawley.

The detox protocol is vegetarian, but if you eat meat you can introduce it back into your diet afterwards.
Exact dates will be included in your course once you register. During the cleanse, I will post daily videos and be active in the community, answering questions.
There is a live orientation, and then during the cleanse, daily live q and a sessions plus an active community page. You can also add a private session to your registration to get personalized support
You might experience some headaches or fatigue, or some digestive issues. During a detox, you are removing toxins from your mind and body, so this is not unusual.
If you are under the care of a doctor or taking medication, you must get your doctor's permission.
If you have joined the waitlist, the cleanse price and access to the course will be sent shortly. It's very accessible.
You'll get a shopping list of everything you need. There are some special herbs, and a wide variety of vegetables, fruits and grains.
You can do the cleanse at any time.
When I'm guiding it live, it's during the seasonal changes. I always recommend you choose a time when you can focus the time and energy. If you are on a different schedule than the guided cleanse, that's ok! You can participate as live as much as possible or catch the during-the-cleanse video support on replay.
