Student Experiences

I need this workshop once a month!!!

Very grateful for such a useful workshop that will enable me to enjoy many more years of interpreting.

This was the best workshop I’ve ever attended. Instead of just telling us over and over what the problem IS, you told us what to do about it. Thank you thank you!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and I look forward to the next one!

Excellent, I want more of this!!

I loved how this workshop talked about the physical part of interpreting, most is the mental and ethical.

Wonderful to have different exercises to help me extend my working career!

Hi I'm Jen,

I have been teaching Iyengar yoga for more than 20 years. And I have been a sign language interpreter for more than 25 years.

Incorporating Ayurveda into my life during COVID made such a positive impact on my life. Combining this ancient science with my yoga practice has been a game-changer. At first, I was reluctant to practice Ayurveda, but the immediate benefits were hard to resist.

I was never interested in any kind of detox, but when I experienced an Ayurvedic cleanse, my attitude changed. I want to share it with you! If you are resistant, I get it!

I have studied with Dr. Arun at Ayuskama Ayurveda and Rose Carol at Ayurveda Amritanam Learning Center, where I qualified in Ayurveda Health Coaching. I'm particularly interested in Ayurveda and how it affects our mental health; therefore, I continue my studies in Ayurveda Psychology, and I've studied Vedic Psychology with Dr. Frawley.

I'm looking forward to guiding you on your first (maybe not last!) Ayurvedic Cleanse

Student Experiences

Excellent workshop. I’ll definitely apply this to my current yoga practice. It was great having your perspective on what we need to do as practitioners.

This was a wonderful experience to be a part of group looking to holistically heal as interpreters. I loved all the new stretching exercises I learned and will be incorporating them into a new daily practice.

I learned a lot of new stretches for relieving tension and general relaxation I wasn't aware of before, and I'm really excited to start incorporating them into my daily regimen!

I appreciate that the exercises/stretches were demonstrated and that we were given the opportunity to try them ourselves.

This was a feel good workshop. Much appreciated!

Such a great workshop will definitely be implementing a lot of these stretches

I had a great time! As an interpreting student with chronic pain, I am always looking for general ways to better myself, and having a resource/environment specifically for interpreters was really nice.
